Fabulous favorites are things I recommend you to buy, experience, or just reflect on. They make my day a little more exciting, encourage healthy living, or a positive outlook. Fab Faves posts are all about tips, tricks and life hacks I use to keep it fresh, feel inspired, keep perspective, and keep things real.
Check out my Fab Faves posts every Tuesday. Their length will vary depending on what I feel I want to share with you all. I want to be honest about favorites that are worth highlighting each week.
Here are my Fab Faves for this week:
Spring 2017 Anthropologie House & Home Catalogue
Fun, boho, colorful, inspiring, aspirational. Those are some of my favorite adjectives to describe the Anthro girl/world. I don’t always buy their products, but I am consistently looking at their website and catalogues for personal style and design inspiration.
This Spring’s home catalogue happens to be my favorite. With 119 pages drenched in lavish patterns, joyful hues, and seductive curves, the Moroccan-style-inspired decor will make you want to donate everything you own (or put it on craigslist!) and make a fresh start.
Here is the link if you’d like to request future catalogues.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat
This illuminating concealer pen has been my favorite beauty product since I was first made aware that I had noticeably dark circles under my eyes. Contrary to popular belief, I actually do appreciate when a close, well-intentioned friend kindly points out something I might not have been aware of before.
Sure I noticed a bit of a darker rim around my eyes, but I thought perhaps, I was being too self-critical. However, a dear friend recommended I purchase this product while attending a beauty event. I realized then that, my fatigued eyes were obvious to everyone else, not just me.
I was a little skeptical about the click-pen concept at first, but I have found it very easy to use and not messy at all. No need to worry about ghostly white under eye situations, this product blends in beautifully and just brightens my eyes with its luminous finish.
Bhastrika Breathing Exercises
Inhale……Exhale….. Breathing happens every day, all day, and I barely think about it. I’ve known for much longer than I care to admit that practicing deep breathing is great to release stress, increase levels of energy, and clear the mind.
I have to be purposeful about it or I’ll forget. I set my phone alarm to remind me – once in the morning and once mid-afternoon- that I have to find a quiet place and focus on my breath, at least couple of minutes, each day. I recently started practicing Bhastrika Breath. I can already feel its daily positive effects. I have a rush of energy shortly after my practice, and the added benefit of increased digestive power and a boost to my metabolism keeps me going!
