Angela Bolaños is a multidisciplinary artist based in Miami, FL. Her process-driven creative practice makes use of textiles, found objects, traditional media and explorative techniques to materialize narratives concerned with subjects such as  vulnerability, self-realization, identity and the passing of time. The physicality of her work is inspired by intricate shapes such as flowers, plants and trees, infusing the works with subtle allegories of Mother Earth and mother goddesses-the personification of motherhood, creation, and fertility- often juxtaposed with geometric shapes, patterns and paper collages.
