Teaching & Programs
Alongside my studio practice, I develop art experiences that bring people into closer conversation with contemporary art, materials, and their own ways of seeing. Through workshops, museum programs, and collaborative projects, I work with children, adults, families, and communities to create spaces for curiosity, experimentation, and connection.
Art in Conversation
I lead gallery conversations, artist talks, lectures, and interactive programs that invite audiences to engage more deeply with contemporary art. Programs can be developed for museums, galleries, schools, universities, community organizations, and private groups, and adapted for children, adults, families, or intergenerational audiences.
Drawing from my experience as both an artist and museum educator, I combine close looking, conversation, storytelling, and hands-on exploration to create experiences that are welcoming, participatory, and responsive to each audience.

Workshops & Artmaking
I develop and lead hands-on art workshops that connect modern and contemporary art, materials, and creative experimentation. Workshops can be designed around an exhibition, an artist, a particular material or process, or developed in conversation with an organization around a specific theme.
Drawing from my own studio practice, I often work with painting, textiles, embroidery, collage, paper, and found materials. Programs can be adapted for children, teens, adults, families, and intergenerational groups, with no previous art experience required.

Youth & Family Programs
I develop engaging art experiences for children, families, and intergenerational audiences that encourage curiosity, imagination, and creative exploration. Programs combine close looking, conversation, storytelling, and hands-on making, creating opportunities for young people to encounter art through their own ideas and experiences.
Programs can be developed in response to an exhibition, artist, book, theme, or collection and adapted for museums, schools, libraries, cultural organizations, and community events. From gallery-based activities and Art StoryTime to collaborative projects and family workshops, each experience is designed to make art approachable, meaningful, and joyful.

Museum Education in Practice
My work as an educator has developed across museums, cultural organizations, and educational institutions, where I have created and facilitated experiences for children, families, adults, and diverse audiences. Through close looking, conversation, storytelling, and artmaking, I create opportunities for people to engage with art, culture, and ideas in ways that are accessible, participatory, and connected to their own experiences.
Over the years, I have worked with institutions including the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), The Bass, HistoryMiami Museum, Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, Lowe Art Museum, Pérez Art Museum Miami, and Arts for Learning Miami, among others. These experiences continue to shape my approach to teaching and program development, bringing together my perspectives as both an artist and educator.
